Educators 4 Education (E4E) runs out-of-school time programs for youth, pre-kindergarten through 12th grade is looking to hire a passionate and experienced Computer Education Instructor for our OST and /or Saturday club programs. All candidates should have a minimum (2) years of experience working with youth in an urban education setting.
Description of duties is as follows:
Computer Education Instructor will provide technology instruction to small groups of up to approximately 15 students each class. The Computer Education Instructor will be responsible for identifying or developing a user friendly technology base curriculum I want to do students to Microsoft Office and web design. Report hardware and software problems; follow up on reported problems as necessary, Train and encourage students to become effective users of technology, Effectively communicate and maintain cooperative relationships with all students during each session, Provide recommendations in the purchase of software for classroom computers. Assist in presenting training to parents, students and staff during hours of employment.
Educational Requirements:
Computer Education Instructor who instruct in our out-of-school time and/or Saturday club programs may not need to have any formal education in the field. In lieu of formal training, teachers are required to demonstrate their understanding of various computers, display talent to create and ability to teach skills to others.
