COMPUTER CODING INSTRUCTOR, West Park Cultural Center
Posted by West Park Cultural Center on September 2, 2025
West Park Cultural Center is seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced Coding Instructor to join our Saturday danceLogic® program for the upcoming school year, starting on October 4th. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching coding to young people and possess the ability to inspire and engage young girls to learn and apply their knowledge of coding. This position is part of a team of two coding instructors teaching the class on Saturdays from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.
Launched in 2018, danceLogic® was established to engage girls in coding through the art of dance. The program highlights the similarities between these two fields and aims to open new opportunities for participants. Located at the Community Education Center (CEC) at 3500 Lancaster Avenue in Philadelphia, the girls begin their day with a dance session at 10:00 a.m., followed by the coding class at 11:30 a.m.
As a danceLogic® Coding Instructor, you will work with a group of girls who range from 10 to 18 years old, delivering interactive and fun coding lessons in a structured and engaging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and delivering lesson plans, leading coding exercises and projects, and mentoring girls as they develop their coding skills.
