Community Services Block Grant Training and Technical Assistance Program

This program announcement is intended to support Statewide capacity development projects for technical assistance in the Community Services Block Grant program. This grant project will support two separate parts: Part 1) Capacity-Building for Ongoing CSBG Programs, and Part 2) Strategic Planning and Coordination Supported by the Recovery Act. These funds should be used to improve financial management practices, program performance measurement, information and reporting systems, coordination between fragmented State and local programs, and ensure responsiveness to locally identified community needs. The grant is open to statewide or local organizations or associations, with demonstrated expertise in providing training to individuals and organizations on methods of effectively addressing the needs of low-income families and communities. Faith-based and community organizations are eligible to apply under this announcement. For more information, visit:
