Posted by WHYY on April 8, 2025
Libraries across the region and WHYY present Free for All: The Public Library, a documentary on the pioneers who built free libraries and today’s librarians fighting closures and book bans. Watch at participating libraries in our region before its PBS premiere and stay for a post-film discussion with your community.
Screenings of Free for All will be taking place throughout April, May and June. Find a screening near you!
WHYY will premiere Free for All: The Public Library on April 29, 2025 at 10 p.m. The film is also available for free streaming April 29, 2025 through July 27, 2025.
