The National Center for Community Education (Flint, Michigan) and the Center for Community Partnerships will cosponsor their fifth annual workshop on Community Schools-Higher Education Partnerships from March 1-3, 2004. This three-day workshop will explore the development and implementation of K-H partnerships to support school day, after school and extended day programs that meet the broad range of needs of children and youth, their families and the broader community through an active, engaged, community problem solving curriculum.
Who should attend: Teams of 3-5 people, including K-H educators, community partners, service-learning directors, staff of 21st Century Community Learning Centers.
