Federation Kehillah sponsors community resource fair
The Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Kehillah of Old York Road will offer a hand-up to those who are affected by today’s challenging economy by sponsoring a free Community Resource Fair on Sunday, April 19th from 2-5:30pm at Old York Road Temple – Beth Am, 971 Old York Road, in Abington.
Numerous legislators and state and local agencies have teamed up to offer workshops on such topics as avoiding home foreclosure, mortgage financing options, finding money for college, and other information and resources to help people cope financially, emotionally, and spiritually.
Seating is limited to 25 participants for each workshop. For additional information, call State Senator LeAnna Washington at 215-517-1434, or email Lynne Balaban at LBalaban@jfgp.org or call her at 215-884-3944.
