Community Resource Corps Program Manager, City of Phila.
Posted by City of Philadelphia on June 1, 2021
The Mayor’s Office of Civic Engagement and Volunteer Service (MOCEVS) is committed to increasing long term, sustainable civic engagement throughout the city. To support this goal, we offer a variety of training opportunities for community members, nonprofit partners and City agencies. In addition, we support internal and cross-sector convening and collaboration to reduce silos and increase efficiency and efficacy of engagement and volunteer programs and tactics. MOCEVS is housed within the Mayor’s Office of Public Engagement.
MOCEVS is hiring a program manager for our new AmeriCorps program- the Community Resource Corps. This program will focus on connecting residents to life sustaining resources at the City of Philadelphia.
The Program Manager will be responsible for successfully managing the Community Resource Corps, a new citywide program designed to connect residents to anti-poverty benefits and resources. The ideal candidate for this role will be a fast paced and innovative problem solver, who excels at building trusting relationships and managing equity centered community engagement programs within low wealth and multicultural communities.
