Job Summary

Will serve as a community researcher on the JoY Education Lab’s recent Civic Imagination Grant from Partners for Campus-Community Engagement. The Community Researcher will conduct community focus groups and lead 3 workshops with another Community Partner on Restorative Justice Healing Circles in partnership with Good Shephard Mediation.

Essential Functions

  • Will conduct interviews with Philadelphia community members.
  • Will conduct focus groups with PCM.
  • Will lead 3 workshops.
  • Will collect data and organize findings for dissemination.
  • Work with all members of the JoY Lab.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years’ experience working within/across the Community of Philadelphia.
  • Proficiency operating Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong self-starter.
