Job Summary
Will serve as a community researcher on the JoY Education Lab’s recent Civic Imagination Grant from Partners for Campus-Community Engagement. The Community Researcher will conduct community focus groups and lead 3 workshops with another Community Partner on Restorative Justice Healing Circles in partnership with Good Shephard Mediation.
Essential Functions
- Will conduct interviews with Philadelphia community members.
- Will conduct focus groups with PCM.
- Will lead 3 workshops.
- Will collect data and organize findings for dissemination.
- Work with all members of the JoY Lab.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years’ experience working within/across the Community of Philadelphia.
- Proficiency operating Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel & PowerPoint.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong self-starter.
