2006 Community Report Card Press Conference and Community Conversation
Thursday, April 6, 2006 – 12:30 p.m.
Project H.O.M.E.?s Honickman Learning Center and Comcast Technology Labs – 1936 Judson Street
The Community Report Card is an annual assessment of how our neighborhoods are doing in several key areas: Health; Youth violence; Early care and education; Supportive families and communities.
The Report Card charts progress and challenges, and makes recommendations for meeting those challenges
? 12:30 ? Press Conference with Mayor John F. Street, summarizing the results of the Report Card and what they mean for our City
? 1:00 ? Community conversation on how we can respond to the issues raised in the Report Card. Several community leaders have been invited, including Councilman Darryl Clark, Police Commissioner Sylvester Johnson, and others.
