Community Reinvestment Act 101
Have you noticed a lack of banking opportunities in your community? Have you experienced branch closures? Are some lenders serving your community well while others are neglecting it? What can you do about this?
Join us Thursday, November 10th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the PACDC conference room for the National Community Reinvestment Coalition’s (NCRC) Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) 101 workshop and learn how the CRA can be used to increase reinvestment in our neighborhoods.
Find out how banks are rated on CRA exams and how your comments can influence a bank’s CRA rating, lending, and investments. Learn how to use data to measure bank performance and how organizations like yours can comment effectively to federal regulators to ensure equitable development in your community.
This event is co-sponsored by NCRC members: PACDC, Clarifi, The Business Center for Entrepreneurship and Social Enterprise, and South Philadelphia H.O.M.E.S
