Community Meeting on new School Report Cards
Posted by on July 29, 2013
AS OF JULY 31, THESE MEETINGS HAVE BEEN CANCELED.
DEAR PARENT or GUARDIAN, WE NEED YOUR HELP!
This year, the School District of Philadelphia—in collaboration with the charter schools of Philadelphia, parents, and community stakeholders—will develop a new School Report Card that replaces the School Performance Index (SPI) and the School Annual Reports.
We need your feedback to help us think about what goes in the new School Report Card and how it’s designed. Our goal is to build a tool that’s easy to use, easy to understand, and gives you the information you need to make the right decisions for your child. We hope that you will join us at one of the six
meetings we are holding across the city:
When:
July 31, 2013, 11:00am – West Philadelphia (McMichael School – West PFRC, 3543 Fairmount Ave.)
August 2, 2013, 4:30pm – North Philadelphia (Juniata Community BHC, 2637-45 N. 5th Street)
August 5, 2013, 10:00am – Center City (Education Center, 440 N. Broad Street)
August 6, 2013, 10:00am – South Philadelphia (Houston Community Center, 8th Street & Snyder Ave.)
August 7, 2013, 10:00am – North Philadelphia (Honickman Learning Center and Comcast Technology Labs, 1936 N. Judson Street)
