Community Legal Services Breakfast of Champions

CLS honors public interest law activists
Community Legal Services will sponsor its annual Breakfast of Champions event to recognize the contributions of public interest law volunteers, colleagues, and funders on Thursday, May 27th from 8-10am at the Radisson-Warwick Hotel, 17th and Locust Streets in Philadelphia.
The keynote speaker will be Laurence Tribe, Senior Counselor for Access to Justice at the US Justice Dept.
At the event, CLS will present the Champion of Justice Award to retiring State Rep. Kathy M. Manderino, and Equal Justice Awards to Michael J. Boni, Esq., Johnie Mae Coles, a CLS paralegal, and Anita Santos-Singh, Esq., Executive Director of Philadelphia Legal Assistance.
