Community Learning Briefs from Phila Education Fund
Posted by on February 24, 2006
The Philadelphia Education Fund, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the quality of public education for underserved youth in the Philadelphia region, is pleased to announce the launch of Community Learning Briefs.
These periodic briefs focus on important social, practice, and policy issues that impact the academic outcomes of youth in our region. They serve as a resource to inform the community, raise awareness, prompt dialogue and inspire action in public education.
The first brief, “How Can You Help Your Student Succeed in High School,” focuses on the critical importance and benefit of talking with students about school.
