Community Leadership Day of Service – May 14
Posted by Urban Affairs Coalition on April 19, 2022
April is National Volunteer Month. It is a time to recognize the impact of volunteer service and the power of volunteers to tackle society’s greatest challenges, build stronger communities, and be a force to transform the world. Doing good can come in many forms, including donating your time or money, voting in elections, or speaking up for a cause. At the Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC), we recognize and celebrate them all.
Join us for our Community Leadership Day of Service on Saturday, May 14, 2022. The Community Leadership Day of Service, which is part of UAC’s 52nd Anniversary Celebration Series, will honor our Community Leadership honoree, Gregory Heller, and will celebrate UAC’s new facility in Philadelphia’s Logan neighborhood. The volunteer-led event will bring together volunteers – including our family, friends and colleagues – to work on a neighborhood beautification project and provide access to important community services.
Date and Time: Saturday, May 14, 2022, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Location: Stenton Park, 4600 N 16th St (16th and Wyoming), Philadelphia, PA 19140
