AstraZeneca Invites Applications for Community Health, Youth STEM Programs
Pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca is accepting applications for its ACT on Health Equity Community Solutions Challenge, which is designed to support nonprofits that are providing a positive impact on the health of underserved populations through regional and local community-based programming.
Grants of up to $25,000 will be awarded in support of programming within two categories:
Community Health and Well-being — Community-based programs designed to improve conditions that affect health and well-being (e.g., housing, education, environmental/ neighborhood safety, nutrition, access to care) as well as programs that prioritize the social, cultural, and linguistic needs of underserved patients, caregivers, and families.
Youth STEM Education and Career Readiness — Programs that build knowledge and skills in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math among K-12 or undergraduate students.
To be eligible, applicants must be tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and deliver regional and local community-based programming (including local chapters of national organizations).
