Provident Bank Foundation Accepting Application for Community Health Projects
The Provident Bank Foundation was created in 2003 with a donation of stock and cash from the initial public offering of Provident Financial Services stock. Since its inception, the foundation has awarded over $19 Million to deserving organizations within the communities the Provident Bank serves in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
The foundation is accepting applications through its Signature Grants program for projects that fall within the focus area of Health, Youth, and Families. One $100,000 grant will be awarded for a project designed to help ensure that people of all ages and means in New Jersey and Pennsylvania have the ability to improve the quality of their lives, including having a safe place to live and access to quality health care.
To be eligible, organizations must be recognized as tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and serve communities in New Jersey and/or Pennsylvania.
LOIs should be returned no later than August 18, 2016. Upon Review selected applicants will be invited to submit complete applications, which must be returned by October 1, 2016.
