Philabundance, the largest food bank and food rescue organization in the Delaware Valley is seeking a Community Food Center Site Manager.

The Community Food Center (CFC) Site Manager is responsible for the operation and management of the 6th and Lehigh CFC, a food cupboard utilizing the choice model located in the basement of the Philadelphia Free Library – Lehigh Branch. Job duties include supervising staff and volunteers, ensuring that all policies and procedures are being followed, accurate customer and inventory data management and input, assist in development and creation of customer and operations planning as well as trouble shooting issues as they may arise. This is an active position that requires evening and weekend hours.
Specific Responsibilities:
Oversee, communicate and support on-site staff to ensure smooth operation of the site.
Monitor, coordinate and oversee all aspects inventory management and logistics of deliveries
Oversee collection, maintenance and organization of client data to meet reporting requirements
Oversee and support volunteer program, including recruitment, training, and recognition
Assist Program Manager with promoting the CFC in the community
Ensure a professional, clean, friendly and welcoming environment for staff, volunteers and clients
Monitor and track data to provide monthly reporting as necessary
Ensure all current policies and procedures are adhered to and assist with development and documentation of procedures as program evolves.
Maintain positive working relationships with on-site offices, neighbors and community at large
Qualifications and Experience:
Associates or Bachelors degree required
Fluency in Spanish required.
Social service or non profit supervisory experience required
Access to reliable transportation
1-2 years’ professional experience working directly with community members and stakeholders
Grocery merchandising and/or general retail experience a plus
Computer Skills Required: Word, Excel, and Outlook. Access a plus.
