Community Fellows Campus Applications available
Posted by on February 06, 2012
In partnership with PennSERVE, the Governor’s Office on Citizen Service, Pennsylvania Campus Compact (PACC) is pleased to announce the availability of 400 Part-time AmeriCorps awards to member and non-member institutions for the 2012-2013 academic year. This AmeriCorps Education Award Only Program, AmeriCorps Community Fellows, seeks to increase the number of college students serving in the areas of college access and success, while developing college students as active citizens.
In exchange for committing to serving 300 hours or 450 hours over the course of the calendar year, Community Fellows will receive an AmeriCorps Education Award, of $1,175 or $1,468, respectively. In addition to the AmeriCorps Education Award, Community Fellows will receive ongoing support and training from Pennsylvania Campus Compact, to ensure the quality of the service that they are providing the community, while developing them as life-long citizens.
If your campus or organization would like to become a part of the Community Fellows Program, please review the program materials, including the Program Overview and Requirements, complete the application, and return it to Michele Lowrey via email by February 28, 2012.
