The Public Policy Department within MCC seeks an energetic professional to analyze and translate maternal child health policies for the broader community, educate staff and engage the public sector about the impact of policies and actions on families with young children. In addition, the individual will coordinate the use of technology to advance MCC’s policy agenda including the creation of electronic alerts and web pages. Responsibilities also include conducting research, organizing public forums, and writing public comments.
Qualified candidates must have Bachelor’s degree required /Masters degree in Social/Human Services preferred; 1-3 years professional experience in policy, coalition building, or project management; facility with electronic communications; excellent communication and organizational skills, interest in making positive contributions for families.
