Through interactive cooking classes and experiential nutrition education, Vetri Community Partnership uses the kitchen as a classroom to help kids, families, and community members build culinary skills, nutritional knowledge, and confidence.

Vetri Community Partnership partners with schools and community groups in Philadelphia and Camden that share our passion for nutrition and education. We work with people from under- resourced communities to help build the life skills for a healthier future.

Vetri Community Partnership is seeking an engaging Community Educator who will work across VCP programs to lead cooking classes, recipe samplings, and nutrition education activities for kids, adults, and families across Philadelphia and Camden. The Community Educator works to inspire community members of all ages to include nutritious foods in meals for themselves and their families.

In addition to leading and supporting cooking classes in schools and in VCP’s Teaching Kitchen, the Community Educator drives and operates VCP’s Mobile Teaching Kitchen in the community to deliver programming in public spaces including food distributions and grocery stores.
