Community Development Venture Capital Alliance Annual Conference
Posted by on February 25, 2005
Don’t miss the Community Development Venture Capital Alliance (CDVCA) 2005 Annual Conference! It will be held March 15 and 16 at the Sheraton National Hotel in Arlington, Virginia – just minutes from Capitol Hill. This conference is the premier training and networking event for anyone interested in community development venture capital (CDVC). And if you are new to the field, a one-day training workshop entitled Double Bottom Line Investing: An Introduction to the Community Development Venture Capital Approach, precedes the conference on March 14, 2005.
At this year’s conference, you will hear from a wide spectrum of investors in the CDVC industry, take a hard look at measuring impact in our industry, discover new ways to increase deal flow in underinvested areas, learn about adding both financial and social value to portfolio companies, discuss two case studies featuring challenges faced by investment fund managers, and more! You will also have the unique opportunity to attend a luncheon on Capitol Hill, as well as discuss public policy issues relevant to the CDVC industry with Congressional representatives from your home state or district.
To find out more about the conference, visit our website at http://www.cdvca.org. Register now to ensure that you receive the early bird discount and advance reading materials for the event!
If you have any questions, please contact Elena Chavez at echavez@cdvca.org, or (212) 594-6747 ext. 27.
We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
