CDFI Program Announces Notice of Available Funds for 2012
The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Community Development Financial Institutions Fund (CDFI Fund) released its 2012 Notice of Funds Availability for the Community Development Financial Institutions Program (CDFI Program). The program will support CDFIs that are providing affordable financing and related services to low-income communities and populations that lack access to credit, capital, and financial services. A portion of the funds, $25 million, will be used for financial assistance awards under the Healthy Food Financing Initiative (HFFI). The deadline for applications is January 11, 2012.
