CCNCCE’s 2005 Annual National Conference
Join us in beautiful, sunny and warm Arizona for the best service learning and civic engagement conference, hosted by the Community College National Center for Community Engagement.
The Community College National Center for Community Engagement’s 14th Annual National Conference will be held May 25 – 27, 2005 at the Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort (http://www.pointehilton.com) in Phoenix, Arizona.
The theme of the conference is Community Dialogue and Engagement: Valuing Our Partners. Our keynote speakers are Dr. Barbara Holland, whose keynote address will be: The Wisdom of Community Partnerships; Dr. Frankie Santos Laanan, whose keynote address will be Impact of Community Colleges on Individual and Society: Trends and Implications; and Dr. Steven D. Crow, who is the Executive Director of The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
In addition to our keynote speakers, we have scheduled three pre-conferences, 32 concurrent sessions, celebration for our Collaboration Award Winners and time for networking while enjoying the beauty Arizona has to offer.
This conference has been designated at some campuses to be eligible for attendees to receive Continuation Education Credits – so don’t forget to check with your campus professional development representative.
