The Community College National Center for Community Engagement (CCNCCE) invites you to its 16th annual conference, Meeting the Challenges of Sustainability for the 21st Century, on May 23 through 25, 2007.
This year’s national conference will be held at the DoubleTree Paradise Valley Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona and features many exciting events:.
? Pre-conferences will be held on May 23 and include sessions on ?Grant Writing from Start to Finish?, ?Nuts, Bolts, and Birthday Cakes: Everything You Wanted to Know About Assessing Service Learning?, and ?Keeping On, Keeping On the Practice and Importance of Sustainability in Service Learning Programs?
? Keynote presentations by Harry Wiland, Executive Producer/ Director/Writer of the award-winning And Thou Shalt Honor, a special PBS broadcast on eldercare and family caregiving and Eden Lost and Found; Dr. Tom Gonzales, Chair-Elect of the Board of Directors for the National Wildlife Federation and former President of Front Range Community College in Colorado.
? 32 concurrent workshops over two days (May 24 ?25)
? Welcome Reception (May 23) and Dinner with a special program in the Forum Ballroom (May 24)
