Community College Food Recovery Grant – Jun 3
Posted by Food Recovery Network on May 7, 2024
The Food Recovery Network (FRN) is supporting a new grant opportunity to partner with three community colleges. Almost 4 years ago now, FRN started a project to map across the U.S. where we could apply our model to feed the most people, faster. We learned through that mapping project that when we authentically partner with community colleges, we would have the opportunity to do just that.
To support our desire to partner to recover surplus food to feed everyone who is hungry in the U.S., we’ve established a new grant for community colleges. You can find more information on the homepage of our website, and when you click to learn more about the grant opportunity, you will be taken to this page. Within the grant opportunity, at FRN we understand that our community college colleagues are often the most asked and under-resourced to actually fulfill the asks. We do not want to do that. Instead, we seek to partner in the ways that make sense to the specific community college using a number of FRN solutions that make the most sense for your school.
All applications must be received by June 3, 2024 at midnight ET, and applicants will be notified by August 16, 2024.
