Join the Sustainable Business Network for a seminar & networking event featuring Community Capital & Finance. We?ll discuss how money circulates in our region ? and how we can direct more of it to locally-owned businesses that value community and the environment. This seminar will feature a panel of leaders who run banks, loan funds, business development centers and other financing organizations ? with a chance to talk one-on-one with these folks at the wine & cheese reception.
The seminar will be followed by the ?Dance of the Ripe Tomatoes? at the White Dog Cafe ? a celebration of local farmers with dinner & dancing. This is a great opportunity to enjoy fresh local food and beer, and dance under the stars to live Blue Grass music, while helping to raise money to support SBN ? all proceeds will go to SBN and the Fair Food Project. Reservations for the Dance of the Ripe Tomatoes must be made through the Cafe.
