Community Advocate and Part-time Clerical Assistant.
Vision for EQuality is seeking a full time Developmental Disability Advocate and a part-time Clerical Assistant.
The Advocate should have knowledge of the developmental disability system including mental retardation and the Bureau of Autism Services, experience in providing information and referrals, and good organizational, conflict resolution and problem solving skills. An automobile and valid driver’s license, updated vehicle registration and insurance are also necessary.
The part-time Clerical Assistant will support the Advocacy Department and Latino Project Manager and will be responsible for Advocacy intakes and referrals as well as administrative functions of the both departments. Bi-Lingual in Spanish, translation and interpretation skills are a plus.
