South Asian American Digital Archive (SAADA) uses the power of stories to create belonging for 5.4+ million South Asian Americans. Our archive, storytelling projects, artistic partnerships, walking tours, lesson plans, films, and books help ensure that South Asian Americans are recognized as an essential part of the American story. The future we are building together is one where each of us feels our value, our worth, and knows that we belong.
The Opportunity:
We want everyone to know about, participate in, and be impacted by the innovative culture-change work we’re doing at SAADA. To support that goal, we are seeking a Communications Manager to lead our nationwide communications strategy. Reporting to SAADA’s Executive Director, the person in this role will:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive communications strategy that will share SAADA’s story, increase audience engagement, and elevate our national presence
- Write and design compelling content that inspires audiences to take part in SAADA’s work
- Lead and implement both day-to-day and long-term communications projects that impact SAADA’s ability to reach our audiences
- Contribute to SAADA’s operations, sustainability, and growth
