Goodman returns for workshop on nonprofit communication
Andy Goodman is coming back to the Free Library of Philadelphia to present a workshop on effective nonprofit communications
Goodman says that there are four potential points of connection between an organization and its target audience. When you know all four points and build your campaign around them, every minute and dollar you invest will have a better chance of paying off.
Failure to connect in this ‘age of too much information’ gives the audience an opportunity to walk away. The secret, Goodman says, is to not be ‘the noise’ that gets tuned-out.
At the free workshop, called The Four Connecting Points: Communication that Leads to Action, Goodman will cover the basics of framing and strategic communications, message creation and delivery, and classic case studies from the public interest sector.
The event takes place on Thursday, October 15th from 10am to 11:15am at the Regional Foundation Center at the Parkway Central Library, 1901 Vine Street in Philadelphia. Pennsylvania, 19103-1189, United States
