Common Counsel Foundation

Available for Children, Youth and Minority Programs

Common Counsel Foundation is offing grants ranging from $5,000 to $12,000. Most grants are made for one year and provide general support funding.

Common Counsel has a special interest in organizations committed to grassroots community organizing, policy reform and positive social change — especially those that offer programs for the underserved. For example, Common Counsel’s Grassroots Exchange Fund is a rapid response small grants program designed to support networking and collaboration between grassroots social change and environmental justice organizations throughout the United States.

Insider’s Tip: The foundation prioritizes grants to small community-based groups. Priority is given to organizations with annual budgets of less than $750,000.
