Committee of Seventy (C70) WeVote Program
Posted by Committee of Seventy on September 10, 2024
The Committee of Seventy (C70) provides free nonpartisan voting resources through our WeVote Program, in an effort to ensure as many people as possible know their rights, know how to vote, and go and vote.
As a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that has promoted, supported and facilitated government ethics and election integrity for more than a century, C70 resources and educational programs support diverse needs of organizations.
This is an example of our most recent WeVote email. Partners pick and choose what they re-share in their newsletters, at staff meetings, some print things out or request printed copies, etc.
More details:
- WeVote Email Updates and Communications Toolkit: Join the WeVote email list and you will receive regular updates about the upcoming election (who is on the ballot, what issues are at play), poll worker information, registration deadlines, voter guides and resources, voting rights, and reminders, and much more. You can re-share this information with your audiences in whatever way works best for you, or you can follow our comprehensive communications toolkit and timeline.
- Resources and Flyers: WeVote offers up-to-date Voter Guides, resources on How Philly Works, important deadline flyers, poll worker information, and more. Some materials are offered in English, Spanish, and Chinese.
- Attend Your Events or Visit Your Office: C70 staff can join your team this summer or fall and share information about voting and elections, the role of poll workers and how to become one, how government works for you, and more.
- Trainings or Train-the-Trainer Programs: C70’s Program Director can provide specific trainings on site or via Zoom to support your constituency’s needs, or train your staff to be able to re-share this important information directly. We’re happy to customize a presentation to best support your audiences.
- Opportunity to participate in OnePhillyConnect: Our WeVote partners have the opportunity to join the OnePhillyConnect coalition, which is a new program that aims to help Philadelphia residents find, understand, and access free and life-changing services from local, state, and national agencies.
