I am very pleased to announce a new addition to the COMM-ORG Papers Collection:
Faith-Based Community Organizing: A Unique Social Justice Approach to Revitalizing Synagogue Life
by Julie Chizewer Weill and Lee Winkelman
Faith-based community organizing remains at the forefront of people’s attention. Rarely, however, has the model been analyzed in relation to Jewish communities.
You can find the paper at the COMM-ORG “Papers” page, in the 2003 section:
http://comm-org.utoledo.edu/papers.htm
I hope that the paper inspires some discussion. Authors contribute papers to COMM-ORG in the hopes of getting comments, so please feel welcomed to contact Julie and Lee directly or discuss their paper through the list.
Thanks so much to Julie and Lee for contributing their work.
