College Scholarship Competition based on Fantasy Football
Posted by How I Decide on August 14, 2017
How I Decide is an educational nonprofit based in the Philadelphia area. Our mission is to help students become better decision-makers.
We are launching GM Genius, a college scholarship competition based on fantasy football. It is a fun way for teens to learn about forecasting, probabilistic thinking, and decision-making. Players will learn these key concepts via short animated lessons each week and play in leagues competing for over $30,000 in prizes for themselves and their schools. There is a $5,000 matching prize for the school with the first place winner (requires a minimum of 25 students to complete the season). Schools do not have to run the competition, they can simply encourage students to participate during their free time. Check out our recent ESPN coverage: http://es.pn/2u5MOkj.
Teens can reserve a spot in the game at: http://www.gmgenius.com. For questions, please email Adriana at [email protected].
