Collective Success Network Fall Mentorship Programs – Sep 30

Posted by Collective Success Network on September 13, 2022

The Collective Success Network is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit that supports first-generation and/or low-income (FGLI) college students to achieve their academic and career aspirations through empowering mentorship, professional development, and leadership opportunities. Our vision is a society where all students have the opportunity and support to realize their potential.

The free, virtual Collective Success Network mentorship program is now open for first-generation and/or low-income (FGLI) college students in the Philadelphia area. Interested students can register by September 30, 2022.

Given the COVID19 pandemic, most of our programs will continue to be virtual.  If you and your mentor would like to meet in-person, you may discuss that option after being matched.

There are currently two different mentorship program tracks:

Track #1: Our Holistic Mentorship Program, primarily for freshman and sophomores, covers a range of relevant topics to help you through your college experience and future professional journeys.   Depending upon demand, this program can be offered as a Pod (which consists of 2 professionals and 3-4 students), or as a one-on-one.  The holistic mentorship program meets for 5 sessions (2 hours each) about every other week during the academic semester.

Track #2: Our Professional Career Guidance Program, matches junior and senior students with industry specific mentors to help you as you prepare to go on the job market.  The topics are determined by the mentee, but could include helping create job search networks, a resume review, or mock interview.  This program is one-on-one and meets for a minimum of three sessions over the semester.

We also welcome any FGLI students interested in joining our virtual Consortium Chapter. Interested students can register here.
