Seminar discusses nonprofit, media partnerships
January’s Philly Net Tuesday discussion on Tuesday, January 4th, will gather around the topic, Let’s Make Media!: Collaborations between Nonprofits and Community Media Outlets.
The event will hear from local community media experts who will discuss how nonprofits can make and distribute their own videos, audio, and photography. Presenters will demonstrate how this media can be used with social networking technology to further organizational goals. Participants will have a chance to see examples of media created by nonprofits and other community groups and have the opportunity to ask the experts questions about creating community media content for their own causes.
Presenters will also showcase a list of community media resources available to non-profits in the area.
