Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Virtual Forum: Behind the Mic – The Impact of Media on Gender and Racial Equity – Apr 18
Posted by Women's Way on April 11, 2023
On Tuesday, April 18th at 4 PM, Women’s Way will host its next Closing the Gender Wealth Gap Forum: Behind the Mic – The Impact of Media on Gender and Racial Equity.
This virtual event will explore how media can play a role in transforming conversations about gender, racial, and economic inequities and help close the gender wealth gap. Media, both traditional and online, plays a powerful role in shaping the narratives that are told about gender, racial, and economic inequities. It determines which stories are told, which voices are elevated, and how our communities are represented – for better or for worse.
We are thrilled to have Aparna Muckherjee from Resolve Philly as our moderator, along with the following panelists: Jos Duncan Asé from Love Now Media; Nate Fireall – a WOMEN’S WAY Change the Narrative Fellow; and Nuala Cabral from Independence Public Media Foundation.
