Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Funding Opportunity Announcement: Closing the Gap in Healthcare Disparities through Dissemination and Implementation of Patient-Centered Outcomes Research (U18)
The purpose of this announcement is to identify strategies to engage stakeholders through shared decision making that can be used to effectively implement interventions specific to healthcare delivery systems, clinicians, and/or patients that focus on the reduction of racial/ethnic healthcare disparities in under-resourced settings. Effective strategies will incorporate the translation, dissemination, and implementation of patient-centered outcomes research. AHRQ intends to fund one to three awards, for a total of up to $3 million for the three year duration of the initiative. Total costs for a project must not exceed $500,000 annually. Key dates are as follows:
· Letter of Intent due date: June 14, 2013
· Open date for submissions: June 30,2013
· Application due date: July 31, 2013
