Clinical Specialist, Project HOME
Description:
Project H.O.M.E. seeks an experienced, recovery oriented Clinical Specialist. The Clinical Specialist will promote and strengthen the ability of Project H.O.M.E. residents to grow in their mental health and substance abuse recovery through training and supporting program staff in implementation of evidence based practices. These practices include Wellness Self Management/ Illness Management and Recovery, Critical Time Intervention, and Cognitive Remediation. The Clinical Specialist will teach Wellness Self Management classes in Project H.O.M.E. residences, modeling and teaching motivational enhancement, cognitive behavioral techniques, and psychoeducation skills. The Clinical Specialist will also be responsible for training clinical staff in evidence based practices, including observing staff interactions with residents, and providing direct coaching in implementation. The Clinical Specialist will be an integral part of the program team, collaborating on program development and implementation, and will participate in case conferences to assist staff in working collaboratively with residents toward their recovery goals. The Clinical Specialist will assist in devloping partnerships with community organizations which support recovery oriented initiatives. The position is full time.
