Clinical Research Coordinator B Position at the University of Pennsylvania Center for Mental Health Policy and Services Research
A clinical research coordinator (CRC) B position is available at the University of Pennsylvania Center for Mental Health Policy and Services Research under the mentorship of Rinad S. Beidas, PhD. Dr. Beidas’s research centers on the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based practices for youth in community settings.
The research coordinator will coordinate three National Institutes of Health funded research projects, including an NIMH funded R01, R21, and K23 which all center around the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based psychosocial practices for youth. Responsibilities include: IRB submissions and modifications; primary quantitative and qualitative data collection; managing 2 CRC A’s and a team of 5-10 undergraduate students; database preparation and cleaning; submission of financial documents (e.g., participant payment); ongoing communication with participants; and scholarly presentations and publications.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities: an undergraduate degree in psychology or a related health field and two years of work experience or a master’s degree in psychology or a related health field; exquisite attention to detail; the ability to manage multiple responsibilities including daily tasks and planning for longer-term projects; outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, particularly given the community partner aspect of this work; and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team. Ideally, the interested applicant would have previous experience in implementation science, but outstanding applicants without this experience should still apply.
This full time position requires at least a two-year commitment, anticipated start date will ideally be in April or May, 2016. Hiring is contingent upon funding. Please apply on the Penn system by March 4th, 2016:
