University of Massachusetts Medical School
The CFDC of the University of Massachusetts Medical School is pleased to announce registration for Teaching of Tomorrow 2006-2007, its nationally recognized series of Faculty Development workshops.
First offered in 1994, this program uses a diverse faculty from the Departments of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and has trained over 500 clinical faculty and preceptors throughout the Northeast.
The series is designed to let you:
* Efficiently integrate teaching into your clinical practice in a practical way
* Use the educational planning process to be a more effective teacher
* Develop and assess competency-based teaching programs in medical schools and residency programs
The program is highly interactive and models the principles of effective adult learning.
NEW THIS YEAR: We will offer a special “Train the Trainer” track for individuals interested in or responsible for faculty development activities within their departments or institutions.
