SPINNING GREEN ENERGY INTO GOLD:
Implementing Pennsylvania?s Alternative Energy Portfolio Standards Act

Wednesday, May 25, 2005
8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
Holiday Inn West
5401 Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050

Pennsylvania?s new Alternative Energy Portfolio Standard (AEPS) was signed into law on November 30, 2004 by Governor Edward G. Rendell. We now have the public policy necessary to jumpstart the clean energy market in the Commonwealth. But much will depend on the rulemaking process with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission and Department of Environmental Protection, in addition to the process of monetizing the AEPS credits, recruiting capital to projects, building a new industry in Pennsylvania, and much more.

The focus of this conference is successfully implementing the AEPS so that clean energy can receive the utmost benefit from the legislation.

This year?s conference will feature an interactive question-and-answer dialogue format, with a panel moderator. In addition to speakers and topics that represent the industry leadership, some new features include:

* Broader attendance to include many more potential project sponsors;
* Electric utility executives discussing compliance and purchase plans;
* Conference materials will include attendees? contact information, background documents, and speaker handouts.

This program has been approved for CLE Credit by the Pennsylvania Continuing Legal Education Board.
