Clark Park Science Discovery Day, April 27, 2013
Posted by on March 25, 2013
The 2nd Annual Clark Park Science Discovery Day takes the Philadelphia Science Festival local to West Philly with more than 20 free hands-on activities throughout the park from the neighborhood’s universities, research centers, and institutions. On Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 10AM-3PM, meet local scientists and students as they reveal the wonders of historic Clark Park. Discovery Day is an opportunity for our local scientific community to host an interactive, family-focused Philadelphia Science Festival event that spotlights the neighborhood’s resources in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education.
Interested in being an exhibitor? Additional participation from neighboring nonprofits, community groups, and schools interested in providing an activity. The only requirement is that your activity be interactive, educational, and fun! For additional details, please contact ginalla@upenn.edu.
