Civic Values, Civic Practices, the second monograph in Bringing Theory to Practice’s The Civic Series, is composed of fourteen accessible essays (written by national, international, disciplinary, and interdisciplinary scholars) that address the nature of civic values and their complex connections to profound civic practices that, within an open society, often involve taking risks and challenging conventions.
