Civic Engagement and Community Partnerships Associate Director/Director, Penn Medicine

Associate Director or Director position in Penn Medicine Office of Government and Community Relations with primary responsibility in the area of civic engagement. Under the direction of the Corporate Director and the Director of Government Relations, the Associate Director manages Penn Medicine’s civic engagement work with local community groups, registered community organizations, constituent organizations, state and federal district office staff, Chambers of Commerce and other external groups in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
The Associate Director or Director frequently assists Penn Medicine entities, departments, faculty and staff with communication with external groups and local civic leadership about Penn Medicine projects and priorities. Creates, maintains and improves relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet departmental goals of promoting Penn Medicine’s work in the areas we serve, with an emphasis on Philadelphia and the surrounding area.
