City Rec Dept. seeks summer workers
The Philadelphia Dept. of Recreation is seeking applicants for jobs at Lifeguards at any of eight city pools. The jobs pay between $12.33 and $14.60 per hour for a 35 hour work week beginning in mid-June and continuing through Labor Day. Weekend work is required, and lifeguards need to be certified in lifeguarding, first aid, and CPR. The city offers classes to get certified for a fee of $70 at the pools. Applicants must be able to swim and at least 16 years old by start of employment.
