City of Philadelphia Community Outreach and Education Fund
Posted by City of Philadelphia on November 15, 2022
The Philadelphia Department of Labor’s Office of Worker Protections (OWP) works hard to increase labor law compliance in Philadelphia workplaces. Beginning Friday, November 4, 2022 until June 30, 2023, OWP’s Community Outreach and Education Fund will work to foster collaboration with trusted community organizations across the city to protect Philadelphia workers.
During the open Community Outreach and Education Fund term, trusted community organizations will partner with OWP to raise awareness about Philadelphia’s labor laws, such as the city’s wage theft and paid sick leave laws. As the number of workplace protection laws have grown, the Office has been expanding its outreach programs.
More information about the Community Outreach and Education application process is available online.
