City Homeless Office Offers Youth Internship

The City of Philadelphia’s Office of Homeless Services (OHS) is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to serve as the Continuum of Care Youth System Intern, who will report to the Director of Planning in the Policy Performance Planning division. The CoC intern will work with unit staff, the Young Adult Leadership Committee, Roadmap to Homes board members, and community stakeholders to address the needs of homeless youth within the City of Philadelphia.
Duties will include: supporting the execution of the Roadmap to Homes strategic plan; assist with coordination of stakeholders across city government and the non-profit sector; support information gathering for grant opportunities; recruit and onboard new Young Adult Leadership Committee (YALC) members; research best practices in other cities that could be adapted for Philadelphia; co-facilitate YALC meetings.
This position reports to the Director of Planning within the OHS Policy Performance Planning division, and will require a 10-15 hour a week commitment at a rate of $15 per hour.
