The Department of Planning and Development works in collaboration with communities to promote, plan, preserve, and develop successful neighborhoods for all. Reaching these goals requires city agencies to work together with residents, businesses, developers, advocates, funders, and each other. Planning and Development has a team of agencies that do just that.
Job Description
The Citizens Planning Institute is seeking new applicants for their 2023 paid internship position.
The Citizens Planning Institute (CPI) Intern will:
▪ draft Citizen Planner stories for the CPI website and updating the website,
▪ develop materials for online course sessions,
▪ assist with online (or live) classes and after-class evaluation forms, recordings and session summaries,
▪ development of program metrics and mapping,
▪ update research on planning academies nationally,
▪ assist with Department trainings and development of educational videos,
▪ develop a spring newsletter.
