Citizens Bank Citizens Minority-Owned Small Business Grant
Posted by Citizens Bank on August 11, 2020
The Citizens Bank Citizens Minority-Owned Small Business Grant supports social equity, and will award $15K grants to 100 minority-owned businesses.
We recognize that small businesses are an essential cornerstone to our economy, and diverse small business ownership is critical to the growth and success of our local communities. As part of our recently announced $10 million commitment to promote positive change and social equity in the communities we serve, we have established the Citizens Minority-Owned Small Business Grant. A total of 100 small businesses across the various markets serviced by Citizens Bank and at least 51% minority owned, operated and controlled by an individual who is Asian American, Black American, Hispanic American or Native American will each receive a grant of $15,000. In addition, we’re pleased to partner with SCORE to provide business mentoring to further support each grant recipient’s business and sustain success.
Eligible businesses can submit a statement describing how they would use the grant to strengthen their business and community.
